A term of derision often uttered by Bugs Bunny when referring to an interaction with a dopey adversary. It is a mispronunciation of the word "Moron"

1. A color between red and brown
2. A stupid person; a fool

A malapropism and favorite expression of Bugs Bunny, after outwitting Elmer Fudd. Usually uttered by Bugs this while walking away and wiping his hands in satisfaction. The joke of course is that Bugs mispronounces "moron."

A maroon is a common word used to describe the Queensland State of Origin Rugby League team. This is due to the colour of the team's uniform being the colour maroon. Another common word for the team are the Cane-toads, due to Queensland being where the cane toad was inrtoduced to Australia
